- Provide desktop support for workstation hardware & software and resolve escalating problems as needed.
- Troubleshoot multi-media equipment such as scanners
- Document troubleshooting methods pertaining to windows and network problems
- Configure and manage application systems such as anti-virus software.
- Assist in the development of hardware/software standards and configurations.
- Maintain network servers (exchange/webservers/file servers) and update the servers with latest security patches and hot fixes if required.
- Use desktop and server management tools
- Troubleshoot the servers for any escalating problems
- Maintain desktop workstations with latest security patches
- Maintain computer and software inventories in real-time and relocation of HW&SW
- Inform Managers of any potential problems
- Other duties as assigned
- AA degree Information Technology or related fields
- 2-4 years experience in desktop administration required
- Knowledge of Windows Environment and computer hardware a must
- Knowledge of SQL a plus
- Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical solutions
- Must be highly organized, self-motivated, and able to multi-task
- Must have a professional demeanor and able to provide excellent customer service and follow-up
- Ability to perform at the highest level in a high-stress, fast- paced environment.
