Job Description:

Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Windows 98 through XP workstations and network connectivity issues, both remotely and at client sites (within the DFW area).

Skill Requirements:

Must have working knowledge of:

• Windows domains and active directory
• TCP/IP networking
• Email and how it works

Ideal candidate should have and be able to use basic cabling and troubleshooting tools:

• Tone generator
• Tone probe
• Butt set
• Basic network tester
• RJ-45 crimper
• Punchdown tool for 100 and 66 blocks

Should also be able to:

• Type at least 20 WPM
• Must be able to search web and other sources for troubleshooting tips and answers
• And MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL - must have a STRONG willingness to learn and try new things
