From time to time even the most powerful anti-virus software can't keep up with "evil-doers." At Tigerbyte Solutions, we provide virus and spyware removal with three options.
Here are some options available when a computer is infected with spyware or viruses.
Option #1
If you feel comfortable downloading software and running it on the infected computer, please download the following programs:
These programs are safe and free. Running these programs takes time, and you might save some labor hours by trying it.
Option #2 - Approximately 3 hours onsite.
A Tigerbyte Solutions technician will run commercially available tools to remove* the infection. This may take 3 hours or more to run these tests and removals.
*There is no guarantee that this will clear the problem. Reloading the operating software may be necessary, which could take another 3 hours.
Option #3 - Approximately 2 to 3 hours on site work, plus cost of hard drive
Our Tigerbyte Solutions technicians find that sometimes, with a very nasty infection, it is necessary to replace the hard drive, reload the operating system and all other software. Data is then copied from the original hard drive to the new one.
An 80GB drive is provided by Tigerbyte Solutions, but if a larger drive is needed, the client will need to purchase one.
